Our new Chief Executive, Chris Margrave, started his role in May. Since then he has been getting out and about to see first-hand the work we are doing for customers across the city.

Last week he met up with our Safeguarding and Antisocial Behaviour Team and members of our Repairs Team at St George’s Court, which is located near the city centre. We recently took over management of these properties, so it was great to speak to so many tenants while we were there and everyone seemed happy to see us.

We have been working hard to deal with issues that the tenants have reported to us, including repair work which is needed on the buildings. We are also continuing to work with local partners to tackle existing antisocial behaviour issues in the surrounding area that have been affecting residents. We want our tenants to feel secure in their homes and our communities to be safe, comfortable places for people to live.

After meeting customers here, Chris then went on to join in the Day of Action being held in Edlington.

This was another opportunity for us and our partners from City of Doncaster Council to make a real positive impact in the community. We helped residents to clean the area up with litter picks and we were also knocking on doors to speak to people to hear their views about their neighbourhoods and any support they needed.

Getting out to spend more time with customers in our communities has been a great experience for Chris and the feedback you have given really is helping to keep improving the services we provide.

Chris will be meeting tenants in Mexborough next, look out for more on this coming soon!
