You may need to get in touch with us for many reasons at many different times of the day - and we have you covered.

All the information you need to get in touch with us is shown below. 

If you want to speak to us in person at one of our receptions at the Civic Building or Balby Bridge, these are open to the public between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Our service standards are:

  • To be helpful, respectful, courteous, polite, friendly and professional;
  • To treat you as an individual, with respect and decency and without discrimination;
  • To aim to answer your calls within 150 seconds, during office hours;
  • To arrange to phone you back if we cannot deal with your call straight away;
  • To aim to acknowledge written communication within 5 working days:
  • To aim to respond to written communication within 10 working days, from the date of acknowledgement. Where we need a extension to respond to written communication, we will contact you to let you know;
  • When you visit our offices our aim is to serve you within 10 minutes.

In case of emergency

Sometimes you may need us when things go wrong outside of our usual working hours. When these things are an emergency and can't wait until 8.30am the next working day, we have ways you can report and get in touch:

  • To report an emergency repair phone 01302 862862. 
  • For Noise Nuisance phone 01302 341628.
  • For the Neighbourhood Response Team phone 01302 341 628. 
  • If you are homeless or think that you are going to become homeless you should contact us on 01302 736000 during the office hours of 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday, outside office hours you should contact 01302 737199.
