We held our very own Day of Action on Wednesday 10 January 2024.
Tenants, staff and partners gathered together at Ragusa Drive Communal Hall in Rossington for various different sessions organised to support our local community.
With the help of SMILE, we carried out litter picks to keep the area tidy, and a skip was available for residents to dispose of larger unwanted household items.
We ran our Cost of Living Hub, along with partners from Citizens Advice, Community First Community Bank, Jobcentre Plus, Stronger Communities and Live Inclusive, where people can come for advice and extra support on dealing with food and energy costs, household bills, benefits and more.
Our local City of Doncaster Council Councillors also hosted a cuppa and a cake session to chat with tenants and residents about any issues they want to address.
Thank you to all who came down and took part. It was a successful start and we are gradually making a difference.
