Congratulations to our Degree Apprentice Building Surveyor, Jack Aston, who won Apprentice of the Year at last weeks Direct Works Awards!
The Direct Works Awards was an evening organised to recognise those who have gone above and beyond to demonstrate excellence and innovation in housing maintenance.
Jack is a brilliant asset to our St Leger Homes team, and this award was well deserved recognition of his continual hard work, which hasn't gone unnoticed.
We caught up with Jack about his latest achievement...
"Firstly, thank you to everyone at Direct Works for a very professional and well presented awards night. It was brilliant to network with other housing companies and see how they manage their assets. And a big thank you to everyone at SLHD for the congratulations I have received, and continued support on my apprenticeship. It is really nice to have a supportive team behind me! It is really nice to receive the recognition I have, but I also think it highlights how well we have all been working together over the past year!"
